Powerful 3-Step Process
Proprietary hydrophobic seal locks out excessive moisture while maintaining an optimal moist environment.
Calendula 1X and Comfrey 1X provide powerful anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Embedded emollients facilitate active absorption into the wound bed, while elasticizing, oxygenizing, and restoring the natural barrier.
HydrOil Shield Technology VS Existing Options
Moisture Regulation
Seals off external moisture, making the wound less susceptible to environmental factors than other ointments.
Doesn’t Interfere with Regeneration
Despite its antimicrobial properties, the ointment does not disrupt regenerative microbiome.
Consistent Dosage
Reduced evaporation ensures precise delivery of actives.
Ultimate Defense
The hydrophobic barrier offers superior protection against contaminants. Its non-stick layer minimizes wound trauma during maintenance and removal.
Time-Saving
Easy application and maintenance streamlines wound care, saving time and improving outcomes.
Efffective wound healing requires a delicate balance between moisture control, and preventing maceration.
Keeping the wound environment moist is critical for wound healing, resulting in 50% reduction in healing times. However, excessive moisture leads to maceration, further hindering the healing process.
After her child was severely burned Miriam Rosenfeld, founder of MR Health, spent over 20 years developing a barrier ointment that tackles these issues.
The semi-permeable barrier ointment seals in essential moisture, while simultaneously safeguarding the surrounding skin from excessive moisture absorption. Using a proprietary technology to blend 25 ingredients, the structure of the ointment is engineered to embed high molecular weight occlusive agents, with lightweight emollients.
